Gone, but not forever!
Hi everyone...
It has been some time since I was here...I think since January. Well here is the update on us....we were waiting for our pink and got the call to go for our appt on Feb 6th so we took off to guatemala on the 5th and came home on the 8th. Now I should have spent more time there in retrospect...but I was in a hurry to get her home so she was truly ours . Now the first night was a bit of an all nighter because she was teething....but she was and is a joy. She is a very happy baby and had NO problems with the coming to us...as amatter of fact she acts like she has been with us forever. when we went to the lobby to meet the family and the baby ...the baby looked at my husband and I and said HOLA MAMA.. HOLA PAPA with her little fingers waving at us...I cried of course. But we have been home now for 6 weeks and she feels like she was here all the time. Not a sign of seperation issues.... She never cries ( except teething and we now have 2 front bottom ,4 front top and we are working on the back molars). She will turn 1 year old on the 28th on this month. So for now that is all I have time to post cause someone just woke up from her nap and wants my attention. Hope all is going well for the rest of you...and I just want to add one more thing...I have read some scary things over the past year waitng to go and I have to say it was a wonderful trip and I would go again! Take care all, talk to you soon...............Ceecee |

This is great - how wonderful that everyone is bonding so well and the HOLA MAMA, HOLA PAPA - it really doesn't get much better.
Of course you are already realizing that your computer time will be severely impacted - in a good way. Just don't let your baby turn your dsl off as my son did at 9 months - I got the message loud and clear. Enjoy the ride - and congrats on completing the most difficult part of the journey - enjoy your little girl - Barbara |
