As long as the two million people that follow vote for the worst are voting for Sanjaya, he will stay in the competition. Frankly, I think it is a shame for him and I suspect he is very hurt and embarrassed by it. Chris even acknowledged the vftw people on the show last night, I hope that the show doesn't turn on him for it. Until there are less people in the overall competition, vote for the worst really drives it (all you have to do is look at this forum one year ago, we had the same threads about Kelly Pickler and guess what, same deal). Their goal is to get Sanjaya into the top 10 so he tours, it is sad, but that is what our world has become in some ways with the internet. Look at all the stir with the latest youtube ads for president! Neither candidate is involved and the hits are higher than the goals they hope to reach with their paid ads.

Once the options are fewer on idol, true voting can control it better because the votes are less spread out. In my opinion, they could end it now because there is a clear winner, but that is just my opinion .

when ryan seacrest was interviewing Gina after her bad reviews. He asked her how she is handling the comments for Simon and she started to say something about ' America....' then Ryan cut her off by saying 'don't say it, I know what you were going to say, don't say it'.

I think Sanjaya needs to go, but I wouldn't mind if Phil went either. He creeps me out. I thought Gina was terrible last night, but there have been weeks were she was good so I hope she gets another shot. I thought Melinda was wonderful of course & I was SO impressed with Jordin.
