OT: Anyone in Baltimore?

There is a possible job transfer for my husband. Does anyone have any suggestions as to good towns, schools, affordable housing??

Thanks,

We lived in Belcamp, MD, which is a little north of Baltimore, for 18 months. It was a wonderful area, where people were not afraid to go out jogging at 10pm. Lots of garage sales always going on, nice houses, etc. We rented a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath end unit town home with small yard for $775.00/month. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could take my entire family with me.

I'd recommend almost anywhere in Harford County.

We are in Westminster MD....about 40 minutes NW of downtown Baltimore. It's a great area to raise kids...good families, great schools....we love it here! Good luck and keep us posted on your plans.

Howard County

Is a great area and only about a 20 minute drive to Baltimore. I'd recommend Columbia or Ellicott City.
