Do you have a Chevy Uplander??

We are going to look at one tomorrow. We HAVE to get a GM van because my dad is a GM mechanic and fixes our GM cars for free. Enough said. So what is your opinion of this van? Love it? Hate it? It's OK? Tell me about it. I am NOT a mini-van type of girl...so this is a hard move for me to make...but a needed move. So please make me feel better.
Hugs
Mindy

Being a fellow GM buyer (we have a GM dealership), I like the Uplander. I have never owned one, but I drove one for a few months and it was nice. Very roomy and easy to move around in. We had one with the DVD player and all the extras. Also, in the GM line is the Pontiac version and Buick version of the Chevy Uplander. They look very similar, but a few minor differences. If you don't want to go the van route I can highly recommend the Suburban or Tahoe. Have fun shopping!

You're so funny! I'm not either but I am going to be making the move soon, too. If it makes you feel better I saw one today in Logan's school parking lot and did a double take because I liked the looks of it and thought it looked more like an SUV.

Hey Mindy... I don't have one (I was never a Chevy Lover) but after a fender bender this winter I had one as a rental car... I really liked it!!! It looks a bit more like an SUV and it really drove nice! Not the "gadgets" that My Mini Van has but it was realy nice. GO FOR IT!! Get a pretty color!!! (total girl thing to say about car shopping!!)

You already know how I feel about mini vans ;-)
I'm a mini van mamma! Love it!!
I definitely won't go back to a car.
Oh, one thing. My van is 10 years old (that's how much I love it....won't part with it....plus I like NOT having a car payment!). Anyhow, I went from a much older van with one sliding door to this van with two sliding doors. LOVE IT! Gosh, do they even make vans now with only one sliding door? If yes, make sure it has two sliding doors!

That's it! Have fun van shopping. And becoming a mini van mamma only hurts for a little while. It grows on you.

I bought a Chevy Uplander six months ago and I really love it! Having said that, it's my first mini-van, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But, it was priced so much lower than some of the other vans, that I thought it was a better deal.
