Still No Bc!!!!!!!!!!!
What is going on????????????? We have been waiting on a new birth Cert. from Escuintla for two weeks!!!!!!! The first story was "We should have it in a week" then it was "Sorry we still don't have it but the attorney hopes it will be done today" now the story is "WE STILL DON'T HAVE IT" I just don't understand what is taking so long????? I have spoken with many families that had BC coming from Escuintla and they said it was same day service. The longest wait I have heard of was 2 days. So why the extreme difference? I feel like someone is not being truthful???????? This is delaying everything!!!!! I feel like our attorney is doing nothing to get our baby girl home. Things that should only take a few days are taking weeks!!!!! I just don't know what to do????

after pgn has been the hardest for sure. I hope you have your bc soon. and I pray all of us have our babies home soon.

KO name affidavit   11-13-06 back in PGN ! 01-29-07 OUT of pgn  THANK YOU GOD  (and forum friends)  so much to do..so not ready !!!2-20-07 submitted to embassy for pink 3/01/07 congressman contacted 3/05/07 file resubmitted to embassy by attorney and embassy issued a I-72 requesting proof of DH fingerprints being valid. new I 171h faxed by congressman. 3/06/07 PINK!!!!! embasyy appointment 3/13/07 HOME 3/15/07 a forever family at last !!

I'm so sorry.... It seems like there are slow downs with every step right now. And it is sooo hard to keep waiting after you finally get out of PGN. I hope they get the BC soon and that you get your pink in record time

Our son's BC came from there too and we waited 2 weeks for it. From what I was able to figure out for us was that yes you can get the BC the same day if your lawyer chooses to wait around for part of the day. Ours wouldn't wait so he just dropped it off and he wasn't able to return for 2 weeks to pick it up.

Maybe its time for your trip over there. I have a friend that goes and does all of it there selves at the end of the process. Like getting the passport, pictures for visa and Dr. visit. If it were me thats what I would do. Maybe if they know when you are coming they will speed up!

I agree, maybe you should go over and light a fire under their ****. The wait is much harder when you enter the home-stretch!
