Has any one heard anything about Solutions Conference last week?
OK,
The conference was last week... I expected to hear SOMETHING yesterday from my agency... but here we are, tuesday, and we still have not heard a peep. I know there is the March 2nd announcement... but does any one know what was actually discussed down there and any outcome of those meetings? Working hard to stay busy and not think SOOO much about the process.... Thanks!!

Nope-I emailed my agency this morning but have heard nothing so far. I'll post if I find out anything. The only thing I saw was a post yesterday that someone's agency (I don't remember whose) said that they had discussed alternatives and were more optimistic than before about adoptions continuing in Guatemala.

I heard that a couple of big invitees - DOS, PGN & US Embassy people didn't show up. Which is disturbing to me.

I just read a speech given at the FOA conference and, although saddened at the poverty in Guatemala, I feel much more hopeful that I'll bring my son home
.Am I allowed to copy and paste the speech here?
