Home Almost a Year....Amazing
Took our family to the zoo today and as I watched my three beautiful kids...I realized that we are finally all settled in. Many of you have heard our prolonged attachment saga....well fast forward one year and its like all a fuzzy dream.
Trey is an amazing 19 month old. He speaks 50 words in English and about 15 or so in Spanish...and follows commands in both languages. He is 50% for height and 25% for weight. He is physically ahead of his peers. This all from a little boy who came home very sick, underweight, and requiring surgery for a tumor near his spinal cord. He could not even sit up. Here are pictures of the kids...the first ones were taken the first week home last year in March of 2006 at the very same zoo. The second two were taken today. It's amazing what love and family can do for a child and what joy that child brings to the family! For those of you waiting...hope this gives you hope!

He is so handsome..and lucky to have 2 big sisters to dote on him!! He sounds like he is thriving..and speaking 50 words at that age is awesome..keep up the great work!
