Question passport pages not needed?

our lawyer sent me an email this morning saying that the embassy had just emailed him and said that copies of passport pages are no longer needed? has anyone else heard this?

Arrow I needed ours

I got out of PGN Dec. 14th and our embassy appt was Jan. 23rd. I had to have copies of our passports notarized to send down there.

My agency told us the same thing - that the passport pages were not needed. I thought maybe it was because we did not visit, so there would be nothing to check.

Our embassy appointment was on January 19th and we did not need our notarized passport pages. All they asked for was our last years tax return and to see our passports.

Yes, our agency said this went into effect on 2/1. The embassy also said they no longer need a new I600 when submitting for pink. The big "however," though, is that they now want a certified copy of the baby's passport with a translation when submitting for pink. They wouldn't take our pink paperwork yesterday because our attorney had a copy of the passport but no translation. So now you DO need the passport before you can submit!

Hoping our papers were accepted today for pink!

Our agency also said they no longer need the passport copies and I600s, but they seem to be changing the requirements a lot so it may change again.
