Exclamation Please Help! Question about Homestudy....

documents. Its been 22 months ago since I did our 1st homestudy. I am trying to get all the documents
finished so our Homestudy can be updated.

Do the copies of the BC, marriage cert., and the financial worksheet need to be notorized?

If you can help I would be sooo greatly appreciated!
I can't get ahold of my social worker.

We didn't have to have our's notorized, but we did have to show them the originals, they made copies and gave them back to us.

As for ours, we just needed copies of everything and nothing needed to be notarized. Your going to need the originals for your dossier of coarse, so if you havent, you may want to start getting those.

Thanks you all! You would think I have never done this before. It has been almost 2 years since I last did the homestudy, but this is my forth time redoing the dossier so I do have that down pat thank goodness!

no need to notarize or certify

Original birth and marriage certificates are certified at the state level. That means not only do you not need to notarize them you don't have to have them certified at the state level. Just send them on to the Guat. Consualt that covers your state.

Our marriage and birth certificates did not need to notarized, but our financial worksheet did. Hope that helps! Good Luck.
