I am in the hunt to find someone to do sewing. I love all of the outfits that you see in those pricey catalogs but I know that I could get someone to make them a lot cheaper.. Please PM if anyone is interested!!!

Try your local church, look for a grandmotherly type who wants a cute little one to sew for, cause others can get really really expensive

I sew.....but live in western SD. What are you wanting to sew? For boy or girl or bedding......curtains.....????

Have you tried Ebay? I love those designer duds too, but am not about to pay an obscene amount for something that may get grape Kool-aid dumped on it the first wearing. I find a ton of great designer outfits on Ebay for a small fraction of their origional cost, often hardly worn.

You might check at a fabric store - they sometimes maintain a list of people who sew. Although, please be cautioned that it may be more expensive than you expect. Back when I was in high school and took Home Ec. (do they still offer that), I did a lot of sewing for one of my teachers. She didn't pay a lot, but I got to make some money and got lots of experience, so you might find out where they teach sewing and see if that works out for you.
