Hairbows anyone?
I know nothing about this topic yet and want to send dh to Guat. wish some cute bows for Valentine's day photos.
she doesn't have enough hair for barettes yet...I was hoping to find the long bows that tie in a bow (like Cashcrew has on her page...) Any suggestions for not too expensive stores that sell these? Thanks! -clueless mom to one boy, waiting for dd to come home!

Do a search on ebay for hairbow or headband. Sometimes you can get a headband that has a little place on the front to hook the hairbow. That way after she grows out of the band you can still use the bow.
Believe me after dressing a little boy for 4 years I've spent oodles of time researching bows and such  I saw some Valentine bows at Gymboree as well. You could hook those barettes onto a headband.

I get lots of bows on Ebay...lots less expensive for the bigger bows than the stores I have found online.

Try using a little drop of corn syrup to hold the bow on. YOu have to hold the bow on the head until the syrup dries. You just wash it out. I know the nurses in the nursery used to do that when putting bows on little bald baby girls.
