Hey Everyone!
I've been out at a conference for a couple days and the Moose Cafe has been closed for a bit. Sorry for the delay and thanks for the encouragement. Let me encourage you to visit the Guatemala Adoption Blog and make the Moose Cafe a regular read for weather, headlines, articles, etc. And now TRIVIA!Here are the past two questions (Today's is pretty good too!) See if you guys know the answers to these. #1. In what year was current Guatemalan President Oscar Berger elected to office? ![]() #2. What do the two blue bands on the Guatemalan Flag represent? ![]() Answer these questions here and head over to the Guatemala Adoption blog to answer today's doozy. (*answers to these two questions can be found on the blog) Last edited by adoptguatemalablog : 01-11-2007 at 09:52 AM. |

Yes #1 was a trick question...
Berger won a run-off and was officially elected into office in December of 2003. Like our president, he was not sworn in until January ('04). Also, #2 is correct that the blue bands on the flag of Guatemala represent the bodies of water on either side of Central America (Pacific and the Gulf). Make sure to check the blog each day for new trivia. It isn't trivial to know this stuff when your precious one begins to ask questions about their birth country! |
