My agency just informed me that the embassy will not issue pink submits or issue slips during this time. Has anyone else heard this?

Well we just got submitted for PINK yesterday, for the second time, and our agency said we will get PINK Wednesday the 20 or Thursday the 21, but wouldn't travel until the first week in January.

I kind of put this information together myself as they are now asking for 2007 seals on documents. We were supposed to be submitted yesterday but, couldn't because our attorney didn't have these '07 seals. Now it is maybe today but, I am not expecting to travel until the 2nd week of January. I am still hoping for the 1st week but, your news makes sense to me. I'm upset too. Our agency and I did EVERYTHING possible to get us submitted to beat the Holidays but, it doesn't look like it happened. I'm sorry that you are going through this too. It just doesn't seem fair that they are holding our babies because of Holidays. We have waited long enough!!!!!!!

I'm not at the pink stage yet, but the Embassy will be open again after Christmas, and there are many families here on the boards who are set to be there for their appointments in late December and early January, so it seems like they would continue working since the office is open anyway.
