Caution when arranging flight for Pick-up!
Hey all....I just spent over 3 hours on the phone with Expedia attempting to arrange a flight for pick-up on the 28th. It seems that due to the lack of flights (non-stops anyway) I was told the price had jumped and could pay an newer more costly price for a particular flight. I was willing to pay more just to get it arranged and my daughter home! However, after all the reservations were put into the computer system, they tell me I CAN'T bring a child back on my flight! WHAT? They bumped me up into business class, and kids are NOT allowed. The booking person didn't KNOW that when reserving the ticket before putting me in the system. LONG STORY SHORT: I ended up paying the business class price and bumping someone out of coach. The hastle and length of time spent talking to more than 4 different people to get it all straight was the biggest problem. BE CAFEFUL, make sure you are in the correct flying section/class to bring a child home!

Thanks! Just want to add, I think it depends on the airline. We are coming home in business class (Thank you, Grandpa's frequent flyer miles!!
), with a lap ticket for the baby, and Continental does allow it - it's just an extra fee. I just called the airline again to confirm it.
