It doesn't seem possible that 2 years ago, on December 7 we were home with Jack. My entire family has been changed by this little boy and we all love him soo much. He is pure joy! We celebrated our family day by going to Build a Bear and out to dinner. It was so much fun.
I still check the forums regularly. I love seeing all the new families coming together here. I wish everyone a speedy process. I know how hard the wait is, especially at this time of year. I will always pray for everyone to get there children home as quickly as possible. Here are a few pictures of our journey.
My mom went with me for pick-up and my DH and 2DD met us at the airport. We had all just been in Guatemala visiting 3 weeks prior.One at 8 months. The others are just from our family day and a shot today of Jack and "the guys".(family day photos won't attach - I'll try to add those later)

Thank you so much for your post. It really means a lot to those of us who are still in this long and sad process to see those of you who are home and who have made a "family." I can't wait for the day when I can be the one to encourage others who are waiting. I SO want to be on the other side of it. I am hoping our time is soon. So thank you....your son is beautiful and looks like such a joy. Children are such blessings and I have to just remind myself that the outcome will be Soooo worth all this pain!
