How legitimate is PGN???
Hello to everyone out there! Just wondering if anyone knows of any resources that can help us adoptive parents during the PGN phase?? We have been in PGN since May. We have already had 2 kick outs and now were just told that they want ANOTHER affidavit form besides the 2 we already had to do. THis means we have to do it all over and send it all over creation for certification, authentication, etc. It seems like PGN is just making **** up to kick us out for. I feel kind of like I am being scammed, first you hear nothing for so long, then you hear there is a problem with some form that you did exactly the way you were told to. When I ask my agency if I should be thinking about an attorney they say that these attorneys are very reputable and that they can ask for anything they want. When I ask if I should get a translator to call PGN they say that PGN just gets mad because a third party is involved and it just takes longer then. It just seems like its never going to end. Our child is almost 15 months old now! DOes anyone have any suggestions. THe agency says just keep waiting but I feel like I cant just sit back and take this calmly!!!! Help me if you can!!!!!

I have no advice for you because we are as frustrated as you are. We were sent to Investigation, it was resolved, and the reviewer declined to accept the resolution. I just have to tell you that I think that is one of the best questions ever posted on here~~How legitimate is PGN???
I hope you get some answers soon! Cindy

Maybe we should all contact Madonna for advice. She seems to have found the most efficient way to get through the adoption process!!!!!

I am personally just upset re what happened w Babeeboy (2 years wait and no baby) and ALL THOSE STUCK IN PGN for months and months. Although it worked for us: This system where you are given a referral and get to know and love the child but can't bring them home right away is very tough. I think the children and their paperwork/birth mothers signing off etc needs to be done BEFORE the referral is made. Adoptive families paperwork also needs to be approved before the referral. I really feel it is up to the whim of the individual reviewers to slow the process down or not. Sorry to be negative and I do admit overall the system works but it is so tough when it doesn't.
