PINK is a fine color!!!
On behalf of myself and the username henry'smom (my wife), we have the happy news that we just received PINK!! I had just brought our dog home from the vet when the call came through this morning; luckily we were both home for the news. We are flying down on Sunday, embassy appointment is Wednesday, and we're coming back Friday night. So much to do in the meantime!
We follow this forum often but don't post much, but just wanted to say how great this forum is and it is amazing how everyone has a kind word to say to everyone else. We have been so blessed with a great timeline since our referral and we are thinking about everyone else who is still waiting. We have definitely realized that it is all happening on God's timetable. Homestudy approval by Social Worker: 6-5-06 I-171H received: 6-26-06 Josue Moises Morales born: 7-12-06 Guatemalan dossier completed: 7-17-06 REFERRAL OF JOSUE!!: 7-24-06 Referral paperwork completed: 7-28-06 Power of Attorney sent to Guatemala: 8-8-06 Birth mom & (now Henry) DNA test: 8-25-06 DNA Match: 9-11-06 Approval by Guatemala family court (estimated): 10-1-06 U.S. Embassy Pre-Approval: 10-6-06 Entry into PGN: 10-17-06 Approval by PGN: 11-20-06 Embassy Appointment: 12-6-06 Return home!: 12-8-06

And - YIKES! You got pink already, and you got out of PGN just 3 days before we did! Do you mind me asking where your birth certificate was from and how long it took to get? And when were you submitted for pink?

I forgot to add that our birth certificate was from Santa Catarina Pinula, which is historically a very quick turnaround. I don't even know when we were submitted for Pink but I'm assuming it was granted on Wednesday, since we found out about 9:30 this morning. Good luck to you!
