adoption Christmas ornament?
I am hoping someone can help me find a Christmas ornament for adoption. Every year I buy a Hallmark ornament for my children, when they leave the house some day they will have 18 or so ornaments to take with them for their Christmas tree. We adopted Gabriella in September she is 18 months old so this is actually her second Christmas so a "Baby's first Christmas" doesn't seem appropriate, but I can't find an adoption ornament...to my surprise Hallmark does not make one!? Any suggestions?

Adoption ornatment
Macy's carries the Redchko (sp?) ornaments and this line has an adoption ornament every year. Theis year's ornament was inthe adoptive families magazine that just came out.

Christopher Radko has a great ornament that is available through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Macys is the retailer you can get it from. You can purchase it on line, as I did. They do a new ornament each Christmas. JAck

If you do a search on the web for adoption ornaments, you will find quite a few choices. I loved the one made of a glass heart with a red string that says, Born in our hearts.

Are you sure Hallmark doesn't have one? I bought a Hallmark adoption ornament last year and I've seen several on ebay. I did have to check several Hallmark stores because not everyone carry all of the ornaments.

Hallmark does have a Second Christmas ornament you might take a look at.
The Dave Thomas/Christopher Radko ones are gorgeous though!

I bought the Christopher Radko adoption ornament, but I also bought a personalized ornament at a kiosk in our mall. I had them write Gabriella's name, the year, and "First Christmas at Home".

Brie, I do the same thing. The problem is, last year swear I bought each of them 18 for that year alone, so they will have hundreds when they leave home (if I let them

There is also a website called Mandy's Moon that has Christmas ornaments...you can personalize them, etc.

I ordered one last year and two this year for our daughters from the website someone just mentioned. They have different ones, but the one I chose was a little GUA girl holding an USA flag and a Guatemalan flag and on the top it said, "Welcome Home" and on the bottom it had the date.
