Has anyone done combo adoption announcements and Christmas cards? Is so, what did you write and if you have a picture of it, I'd love to see it. At the rate I'm going, with the holidays fast approaching, I need to get the combo card. Thanks!

call me lazy if you must - but we are making it our adoption announcement, holiday card and invitation to the boys "welcome home dual birthday party".

i can't find a company yet that can do all of this. i need wording on front of card with pics and then inside for invitation. anyone know a place??? Please PM me I need to order this week.

I've seen a lot of photo card companies lately that specialize in adoption/birth announcements/holiday cards. Google it. I think that's the greatest idea to combine like that!!!

I am doing a seperate adoption announcement, but just inserting it in the same envelope with the Christmas card.

My daughter came home Nov. 17th 2004 so we did a combo card.

We had a picture of her under the Christmas tree at the Marriott and it said Christmas Came Early This Year across the top and her name, and born, and came home dates along the right side. We just printed them on postcard size cardstock, and bought matching envelopes. We made it in Publisher. It won't let me post it, but if someone wants to see it, just PM me your email and I can email it to you.

We made combo announcement cards/thank you cards (well...it took us a while to get them done, so we had a lot of people to thank already, lol). Used MS Publisher, then sent it online to a large copying company, that probably has local offices near you, that we could pick them up at. I used 5 photos, a couple of text boxes on the outside, and one of our favorite quotes on the inside.

I'm doing a combo card, $54 for 75 cards/envelopes, you just upload the pic. It says our bundle of joy at the top with the pic of all three of us and then it says, we are so excited to welcome this holiday season Gabriella Sofia....all her info. and then at the bottom it says, so from our new family of three to yours, merry christmas and happy new year. I wanted the template of the card to look more like an announcement but I wanted the wording to be Christmas card like. The company is very reasonable.

ok I had lost this thread then started my own but to combine someone gave me the idea of carols. I don't know what to say in mine. we have Xmas, his birthday and his homecoming to frame into a message. So now I'm Googling carols!

I did a Christmas card with her announcement inside because I knew that we were out of PGN the end of November so we would be getting the call any day. We actually left for Guatemala on 12/26 last year.

I went the combo route and barely got that out by Christmas!! Last year was CRAZY, getting two babies at the same time, practically!
I bought card making software and did something simple. We wrote the mother of all Christmas letters and sent it with the two picture announcements.

It's easy to make any kind of card you want.
I u/l our family's photo on one side and wrote out our names under it , then had "Happy Holidays" down the middle and on the right side have "And joining us soon" and Abby's picture (in a Christmas dress) with her name and where she was born under it.
It is not completely finished yet, as I am taking the picture of her next week, I can send it to anyone if you want it when it is done.
