We Got PINK!!!
We have been in Antigua for 2 weeks and were notified on Thursday afternoon that we have our appointment next Wednesday!!!
I am returning to Antigua on Sunday afternoon (tomorrow) after a return trip to the states to bring my 13 year old son back for school. After three tries with the Embassy, we are finally bringing our son home. If it wasn't for the color passport copies, he would have been home two weeks ago. We are keeping everyone in process in our thoughts and prayers. Dan

Congratulations!!!! What was wrong with color passport copies? I ask because I sent color copies of ours. Do they not like those?

We originally sent black and white like they used to accept then found out that they were requiring color copies. This was after we found out that our attorney messed up our I600 the first go around. We hand delivered our color copies to our facilitator on Monday the 30th but our attorney did not get us re-submitted until Tuesday the 7th. We were told she would do it on Thursday the 2nd.

Congratulations!
 I thought the passport copy requirement was going into effect beginning Nov. 27.  Can't seem to get any correct info from our own gov't.

We were told that it goes into affect on the 27th of November but the Embassy is requiring it now anyway.
What's the point of setting a date if they are going to do whatever they want?? It's just another stumbling block for adoptive parents.

DF NY Adoption #1: DS born 2/18/05; home 6/23/05 Adoption #2: DD DOB: 6/8/05, referral 6/22/05  to PGN with PA: 11/28/05 Investigation begins:1/06 DD moved to hogar from 4/06 until 8/07 2/8/08: Released from Investigations 2 yrs later!!!! 2/11/08: Back in PGN 9/5/08: OUT OF PGN!!!!  12/16/08: Embassy appt 12/19/08: HOME 3.5 yrs after referral but HOME at last! Merry Christmas!

I am really starting to worry now. We have seen other people come home without the color copies and we were told it does not go into effect until the 27th. We have been submitted but have not heard anything. I don't understand how they can post a requirement and say when it goes into effect and then not give you Pink because you did not do it.
