Hello everyone!


I haven't posted here before but have read many of your stories. We are adopting a boy and a girl (not bio). Our girl will be 1 year on Friday, our boy is nearly 10 months, and we're still hanging out in PGN.


One of our birthmothers is a minor. We entered PGN on June 5th and found out we were in minors investigations on Aug 10 when they interviewed the minor birthmother. We were done with minors and submitted to "normal" PGN on Sept 11th. KO'd on Oct 4th and resubmitted on Oct 6th. (Both of the kids are in the same package so where one goes, the other goes.)


Now we're waiting to see what happens next.
Is there anyone out there that has or had a minor birthmother that can share your experience and/or timeline with me?????

Took additional 6 weeks for SW report....
In PGN 6/5/06
Out of minors 9/11/06
KO #1 10/4/06 & resubmitted 10/6/06

Hi Marcia,
We have a minor birth mother as well. You can see our timeline below. We did not go through an investigation and our kickouts had nothing to do with our birth mother being a minor. We don't know exactly when we went back into "regular" PGN, but I'm assuming it was the end of September. Good luck. It looks like you're nearing the end of your long journey.

My son also has a minor birthmom...see my timeline...I know how tough the waiting is, but it will all be worth it in the end!

We had a minor b-mom case as well. Once the inteview is done and you resubmitted into regular PGN, as long as there was a favorable report issued you shouldn't have any problems. Hope you get out soon.
