Well , of course we were so hoping that we would not get a kick out but we did.
We needed to add on to the name affidavit.
We are sad but we keep trying to remember that in the end we will have Malea home and all will be ok!!!

We got a KO last week so I know how you feel. Hang in there. I was in a FUNK for a few days but we have been back in for almost a week now so I am trying to hang in there. Do you have to do a whole new name affadavit then? Like get it certified, auth., all of that?

Yes, she will indeed come home. It doesn't make the kickouts any more pleasant though. So sorry. Been there, know how much it sucks. Hope you can get it done and back to Guatemala quickly.

If you feel comfortable revealing it, what specifically they wanted on your name affidavit? I have heard so many bizarre name affidavit ko's recently - one for not have quotations marks around middle initials; one for not having wife's maiden name set off in parenthesis; one for not having both names on the same affidavit (as in Mr & Mrs John Smith; John and Marie Smith etc), even when those names dont appear on other documents (I mean who says Marie "J." Smith??). Just trying to see if I can get a jump on something. Thanks.

I didn't have my first,middle ,maiden and married name all together. I wish our agency had caught this before hand.
