Nothing yet here. Our DNA was approved on 10/06/06 and no word. I'm guessing holidays and just being a government office will warrant slow response. (sarcasm)

Good morning everyone,

We are also still waiting on PA. We received our DNA results on 10/7/06. I did e-mail the Embassy (Guatemala.Adoptions@dhs.gov) on Monday (11/6/06) and got an automated response on Tuesday to the effect of:

If you are inquiring about pre-approval and the DNA results were submitted less that 30 days ago, please inquire after 30 days have passed. If past 30 days, we will respond within 5 working days.

  • Received 1-171H - 7/6/06
  • 1st visit trip - 8/11/06-8/21/06

  • FC Date and DNA Approval - 9/27/06
  • It's a MATCH!!!- 10/7/06
  • Received I-72 Notice - 11/11/06
  • Received PA- 11/27/06
  • Submitted into PGN; received a KO on GUA side: 12/14/06
  • Waiting to re-enter PGN -
  • 2nd visit trip - 12/23/06 - 12/31/06
  • Moved to La Antigua, Guatemala to foster - 1/3/07

  • MBM Interview - 2/9/07

Here's better news!
Well agency just called and preapproval for 10/06 DNA just came through today (11/08)! Hopefully SW is done report for family court (interview was between 10/20 and 10/27) and we'll move on to the dreaded PGN. I would say according to this news you both should here shortly on your preapproval also. Hope this helps.
