What is in the package you give to immigration?

Are there documents in there that I don't all ready have a copy of? Information or Pictures that I don't all ready have? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle of getting them returned. I'm too scared to send in my original documents that they require in order to get the contents returned, and I can't manage to get to the CIS office right now to do it in person. Can someone who got their documents returned from CIS tell me what they included? Thanks

The social worker's report, copies of the birth mom's birth certificate and photo id, a couple pictures of the birth mom, some medical reports, dna report, baby's birth certificate, things like that. I think everyone's packet contains different things, some get lots of things, others not so much. You don't have to send in original documents to get your documents back. Just send in copies.

We were told by our SW and attorney "DO NOT OPEN" because sometimes they will not except it if it is open. I think it contains all of the paperwork that you received the day you get your visa.....

I second KayV. Most it if was things we already had copies of - social workers report, PGN decree, Protocolo, BC's, etc. - but we did receive some pictures of my children and also their birth mothers that I had never seen before, as well as the origional DNA pictures. WELL worth filling out the form in my opinion. Those pictures are priceless to me. You don't need to send any origionals and the only fee is whatever it costs you to have it notarized.
