Ok who is watching Sesame Street and already crying? HA HA
Just seeing their excitement and knowing how awesome that will feel has me crying already and it has only been on 6 minutes! HA HA This will be a VERY good show to help explain things to our little ones!

The only questionable part was that she will be back with the baby the next day.
 I know it's a kids show and they don't need to get into details, but they could have at least said "in a couple days." The excitement that everyone had was awesome, and can't wait to see tomorrow's show!

I felt kind of foolish watching by myself since I have no little ones with me, but I had to watch, I was crying also...Especially since my name is Gina also, I could see our families sending us off with the same excitment!!!

I watched it this morning with my son and I couldn't stop crying...my son looked at me and said, "Gina is going to get her son in Guatemala just like Mommy and Daddy". O.K., I just lost it because although I talk to him about his adoption all the time I didn't think he understood. Now I know he does! What a wonderful story line.

Ditto, I was crying too. They did a great job. My 4 year old was really excited to watch it. She loved that she was adopted from Guatemala just like the baby on TV. I hope there is going to be a way to buy the series or something. So far it is great.

Yeah the returning the next day part is a little far fetched.
I'm so glad it's airing again Saturday because I couldn't get it recording in time and missed it. I really want this recorded to share with the kids friends!

can I stop recording now?
I cried too when she met the baby (so glad they didn't show her meeting the baby in the Marriott lobby
 ). Can I stop recording now...is the first several minutes the only part that deal with adoption? anyone know?

EJ I'm wondering the same thing!!! I need to mop my kitchen and I keep sitting here waiting for more adoption stuff to come back on. They had the adoption part on for the first 6 or 7 minutes and now it's 30 minutes into it and nothing else. I could have had my kitchen mopped! HA HA

I watched/recorded it also this morning! I was crying like a baby! It brought back memories of when we went to pick up our daughters...especially our first daughter!! After I cried and cried, I went around to all three of my girls and just gave them some lovin'!! I love these girls!!!
I know in Georgia it is coming on again Tuesday-Thursday on GPB from 9-10:00am. I watched it this morning on PBA from 8-9:00am. I just went to the PBS kids website and typed in our state. It listed all of the times it would be coming on. It looks like it's going to air again on/around November 15th.

Sesame Street
I was in tears! And, Kelly, I was trying to clean too! I was waiting for the phone to ring and someone ask me what I was doing! Or me telling someone I'd have to call them back after Sesame Street!!! Can't wait for tomorrow's show! Kleenex are ready!

Ok, I feel better knowing I wasn't the only one getting all emotional. My husband came home for lunch today and giggled at me for getting all teary.

I am so glad that I am not the only one who cried during Sesame Street. I was sitting on the floor watching it with Ava. When tears started, she kept hugging me and saying "oh mama oh mama". I said "look, Miss Gina is adopting a little boy from Guatemala just like Mommy and Daddy adopted you". She looked at the tv, said "mala?" then wandered off to play with some toy.
