Did you try the Santander Plaza? It's a small, family oriented hotel - our agency coordinator stays there sometimes and LOVES it.

Kerry, I don't have any magic answers for you (except suggesting to call the hotels directly in guatemala, not just the 1800 reservation number in the US).

I just wanted to congratulate you on getting pink.

Thanks guys. We still do not have a room. We made plane reservations anyhow. What the heck, I am getting my baby despite this nonsense. I called the Clarion, Intercontinental, Westin, Quinta Real...Marriott and a few others. We found one but it does not have internet access! And my hubby is in school online right now.
I will have my agency help me if I can actually sleep tonight ..
Kerry

Thanks guys

What about staying in Antigua? We stayed there in 2004and LOVED it. I am not sure about hotel internet access where we stayed..though we were very close to an internet cafe.

If you can find a place to sleep, you can always go to an Internet cafe to email, etc. They are plentiful and cheap.
