Any advice on cold remedies
I am having the worst day
 I have been depressed, crying and sick with a horrible cold. I have been sucking down cough medicine and it doesn't seem to be working. My chest and throat is killing me. I have to sleep sitting up so I can breathe. Any advice????

I'm a big fan of Alka Seltzer Cold (HATE the taste, but it works) and Nyquil/Dayquil.
Hope you are feeling better and you have good news about your son very soon!

You poor thing Melissa. It is the worst! Have you been in to see someone to make sure that your lungs are clear? You don't need pneumonia.

My DH and I are both in the medical field. We tend to do Tylenol/ Ibuprofen and let the virus run its course. It is miserable, so sorry.

My DH wants me to go to the doctors tomorrow if it isn't any better. My brother is just getting over pneumonia---is it contagious?

I'm a NyQuil fan as well. It really helps me sleep when I'm sick.
