Any Airline Employees to help me with a question?

If we fly non-rev (on Delta) on our pick-up trip, how will the baby's lap ticket work? I know normally it's a percentage of the ticket, but since all we pay is taxes how do they work that out. I would fly on a buddy pass and DH would use his flight pass card.

You're all much nicer than the airline customer service people so I thought I'd ask you first! Thanks!

What a great way to travel! DH & I purchased both of our tickets and DD's ticket was $220 for a lap ticket.

Have a great trip!

We flew non-rev on a trip to Guatemala a few weeks ago (just for a vacation, waiting for referral still). We did not have any problems non-reving down there. A tip-> dress for 1st class as we were able to get it both ways. As far a child < 2 yo, I think if they are on your lap there is no charge but I am not 100% sure.

Guatemama-in-chicago is likely correct. You will just need to pay the non-rev fee for the seat, not per person.

I used to work for an airline and different companies may do it differently but I don't think you had to pay anything for a lap ticket as long as the child was under 2.

Not sure about the non-rev situation, but you do pay for a lap ticket for international flights. (At least you do now. ) It seems to vary a little in what people pay. Either a percentage of the ticket and the tax, or just the tax. Ours where both in the $150 range.
