Anyone split visit trips with spouse?

Still wondering about IR-3.

I am going alone on this visit trip (mom accompanying) but if we do have to stay in PGN for a long time, dh may consider going down without me.

Anyone else do that???

My DH and I visited together in August. He is considering going alone for Thanksgiving. His father recently passed away and he doesn't think we should travel together right now. If he goes as planned, I will go after the holiday season. Truthfully, I am a little disappointed to not be going. But, whatever works.

My DH went alone in July....however, our agency takes groups of families on visit and pick up trips ....and they have two staff members there the whole time in case anyone needs anything, plus their own hospitality suite.
So, even though he was alone, he had lots of company.
He had a GREAT time! He felt he completely bonded with the baby during that time....and I am sure he did. You should see some of the video!!
He really did well, although I think he was ready to come home after 4 days.
Anyway, if you have more specific questions....feel free to pm me. If you want, I would be happy to pass along my hubbys email address to you.

thanks

to both of you for sharing your situations. Dh is pretty savvy but isn't bilingual like I am; I have an easier time "visiting" alone for that reason.

I think we'll decide based on how long our case starts to take and he'll try to go more last minute.
