New to forum: Seeking Buddy Group
Hi all. I just got my referral on 10/3/06, and I'm seeking others who've recently gotten referrals in the last few months to compare notes, etc. Does anyone know of such a group? Just want to hang and have some camaraderie with similarly situated folks!

Hi there, we received our referral on September 28th a boy born on August 30th. Our dossier has been in Guatemala for a while, we have submitted our POA to our agency and now we await the roughest part of this rollercoaster ride.
Feel free to PM me for a chat at anytime, I am hoping we get through in a fast manner. I dread the thoughts of PGN slowdowns especially if Hague comes into play. We actually were sent our referral information and photos in the days before the news broke about the President trying to stop all adoptions. Talk about back to back highs and lows. Anyway we are staying positive and hoping we are out and he is home in a few months.

You might want to look for the Spring Beginner's post each week. A group of us who started the process in the spring post our updates there weekly. Congrats on your referral

It seems like a lot of the spring beginners are entering PGN or have been in for quite some time. Here is the summer beginners thread if you would like to check it out. Welcome and congratulations on your referral!!!!!!
There seem to be many different groups that get developed and it's great. There are the seasonal groups and then there are a few "Month" groups of when you went into PGN. Overall everyone here is so supportive, friendly and informative. You are going to love it here!!!!
