Urgent prayer request....
Long story short, my good friends cousin and family adopted an adorable baby boy from Guatemala last spring. When they went to pick him up, they noticed he had a rash all over his body, but thought it was probably just the typical rash and would be fine. Well, he isn't fine.
 He has cancer and is in Childrens Hospital in Detroit right now. he's a very sick (and adorable) little guy!!! His name is Alex. Could you all pray very strongly that he can overcome this?? It's honestly heartbreaking. Thanks guys!

I can't even imagine what this poor family is going through. I pray that the find the strength to make it through this and that little Alex makes a full recovery. It's heartbreaking to see such a little one go through something so terrible, but they can make it through this. My neice was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 4. She's now a beautiful, smart, perfectly healthy 11 year old. Your friends are in my prayers.

Referral Dec. 13, 2005 Jan. 3, 2006 - fingerprinted Feb. 27 - international homestudy done Mar. 9 - Dossier sent Apr. 7 - I-171H in June 5 - DNA approval June 19th - entered Family Court Aug. 1st - DNA Taken!!!  Aug. 8th- Out of Family Court!! Aug. 9th - DNA results at US Embassy!! Aug. 19th- Recvd DNA results in mail!! Sept. 6-Received preapproval Sept. 11 - IN PGN  Nov. 10- Previo Nov. 15th - Our precious daughter turned one  Nov. 17th- Back In PGN Jan. 12th, 2007 - WE ARE OUT!!! Jan. 27th - PINK!!!! Feb. 5th - Embassy appointment. Feb. 7th - HOME!!!!!

Evil reviewer gets fired  , and our attorney finds the one person in PGN with a !Miraculous resubmit 1/10/07!! (We find out 1/30) AND THEN 2/27/07 O-U-T!!!!!!!!!! Camille, we love you, and you are coming HOME!! 3/15/07 PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4/11/07 Embassy Appointment 4/13/07 Lucky Friday the 13th...our angel is HOME. OMG!!! How heartbreaking!!
I am sooooooooo sorry your friends and baby Alex are having to go through this ordeal. They will be in my prayers.
I would like the link you mentioned in your post so we can see this little guy. It will help us all not to forget to pray for his recovery and for him and his family during this very difficult time if we have a face to go with the name. OH MY GOSH! that's so horrible!!!!! I'm praying super hard for them! What kind of cancer is it? How old is he? I'm so so so sorry for his family (and him!!!) No child should have to go through that!
