Question Any January referrals still waiting?

I'm feeling really alone here. I could use a group hug . I know many people start to loose interest in the forum once their case drags on... where ya at??? I know you're out there??? Lets not give up!

Hi,

We're Dec. referrals! But we weren't paper ready for international adoption....we had everything ready for domestic then God lead us to Guatemala and the rest is history!! We've had lots of delays but we've only been in PGN since Sept.11 and I just can't wait to get out. My life pretty much revolves around getting our girl home. She is my first and she just turned 11 months old. Praying she's home soon...I'll be praying for you too!

I am a January referral. I was hoping I was still not the only one. We went in to pgn on July 27th and were kicked out August 27 and didn't go back in until September 22nd and are still not so patiently waiting. We haven't heard anything. Our princess will be 10 months old on the 30th. We want her home so badly.

Another December referral still waiting. Would like to NOT hit the year mark but I'm not holding my breath over it.
We're planning a visit at Thanksgiving for his 1st birthday.

I'm right behind you with a February referral. It does help to know we are not alone (although I wouldn't wish this waiting on anyone, it's kind of nice to have company? I hope that doesn't sound selfish).

Daphne,
You already know I am right there with you...but here's a hug! Actually, one for the length of your waiting time, one for always being a pillar of strength for everyone else, and one for supporting all of us time and time again! You are NOT alone!
Hang in there!
Hugs and prayers!

Sue

Hugs and prayers. I can relate, even though my baby is home now and soon to be 14 months old (precious daughter) the process took us from 11/05-8/06. 3- KO's and lots of turmoil. Your child will come home soon, better days ahead.

Here is another hug for the group waiting here. We didn't accept Daniel's refferal in January he was born in December the 12 which is also my husband's birthday as well. Maybe we can all have birthday cake together on here if we don't get him before then at least this way it will be calorie free if we eat it on here.

Julie (at this point trying to wait patiently for Daniel with a big sister who is anxious to have him home as well)

Hi, I am with you too, Got our referral Jan 20th in PGN May 28 wi PA. I cry every day that my Bianca is not home with us. I want to stay positive but saddness and fear keeps creeping in. I am glad we have each other. Sometime I stay away from the forum for a few days, but when I come back there is always something I read that makes me smile.

I'm still here, too. The longer this process has gone on, I'm probably on the forum more than usual. It's been helpful to connect with you all, because we're going through similar things. This week marks my entry into the 100 day club, and I''ve been back into PGN since early September after a kickout. I'd love to hear that we're OUT soon, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Thanks for posting this thread, and I hope that soon we will all have our children home.

It really warms my heart to see you all write in. I see some people only posted 20 or 30 times to the forum, but decided to respond to this thread. I know sometimes we really feel alone, forgotten, and very sad. Hang in there evryone. Our day will come too. many of you (based on your time lines) seem to be very close to bringing your child home! Katie - I'm sorry to hear about the abandonment case.

We were a November referral...she's still not in our arms. Now, we're waiting for her passport picture to be taken. The children are staying out of sight, due to the unrest. Our appointment has been set for the embassy, but they won't tell us what it is until the facilitator gives them Flora's photos - thus, we may not get to Guatemala in time for our appointment.

My prayers are with all of you who are still stuck in the various places. It has been a horrible year...one that I pray ends happily for all of my forum friends. I wish you peace.
