I600 A question
For question 16 Where do you wish to file... Is there I put the USCIS of Indiana office and then the consulate is in Chicago ? I have done this before but I always get nervous. ... Just need to know if I am thinking right

We put "Guatemala City, Guatemala" under The American Embassy or Consulate at... We did this for both adoptions. Your agency should be able to tell you for sure.

I just looked at our sample form that we used for both adoptions. On #16 we have always put under The American Embassy or Consulate at "Guatemala City, Guatemala". Hope this helps.

Oh No!
So, what happens if you put something different? I put the same thing that the original poster put in her first message (Kansas City and Consulate in Chicago). Do you get denied or do you have to redo it all? I'm so bummed now because I thought I had finally done it correctly....We just filed ours this morning.

We said Guatemala City, Guatemala too. I'm not sure what you'd do to correct it. I bet they just cable the I-171H down to GC upon your request.
