Oh Laura, I am so sorry! I hope you find peace in your decisions. I know others have persued abandonment cases and gone on with other referrals as well... is this not an option? I think you were meant to be a mom... I really, really do- maybe you just aren't sure how the it's all going to work out yet. I am thinking of you!!!

I've been where you are.. Six miscarriages and three failed domestic adoptions.. I don't believe God puts the desire for children in our hearts if we aren't meant to be a Mom...

I am so sorry but don't give up hope. If they could find the mother then maybe she will decide to cooperate and let Sabrina have the family she was meant to have. My thougths and prayers are with you and Sabrina and I pray her birthmother finds the strength to do what needs to be done.

I am so sorry that this has happened and can only imagine the pain you are experiencing. I am touched by your unselfish love for this little girl. Reading your words tonight, like so often on this message board, I have learned once again about the capacity to love, sometimes against tremendous odds. This news must be so shocking and heartbreaking. It makes sense to me that you would need time to absorb what is happening.

Actual date file entered PGN - Oct. 23rd KO'd Nov. 7 - PGN requires new employment letter for my husband - notary's commission expired FINALLY RE-SUBMITTED TO PGN Jan. 4th, 2007 New reviewer assigned to our case Jan. 30, 2007 KO'd AGAIN!!! Feb. 1, 2007 - this is really getting old!! 3rd visit trip Feb. 1-4th Feb. 21st and we still don't know what KO#2 is even for?!?!?!? Guess it wasn't a KO after all!!!!!! Feb. 22 OUT OF PGN!!!!!!!! Oh Laura...I am crying after reading this news about Sabrina...I wish I could come up with something perfect to say or a way to ease your pain, but I can't. Just know that I am praying for you and your beautiful Sabrina and also her b-mom. I hope that God shows you a light to follow...I think you are going to be a wonderful mother and it will happen. Tons of big hugs....

My heart breaks for you and for your situation. Please do not give up. God has given you a desire in your heart to be a mother and He will fulfill that desire in His time. You, your husband and Sabrina will be in my thoughts and prayers along with the birthmom. Things can still happen, just don't give up.

I'm so sorry for you, your DH, Sabrina and her birthmom and will be praying for each of you and the situation. What ever you do, don't give up the dream of being a Mommy. It is too important for your child that you hold onto that and keep the faith, no matter how hard at times.....
