OT: Update on our Liberian adoption
I know this is a Guatemalan forum, but many of you have been following our journey with Lillian and I wanted to update you (besides, not much happens over on the Africa boards and I'm so excited that I have to share!).
We received word today that we are entering court in Liberia this week! Court takes anywhere from one day to one month. After that, she's legally our daughter! We just have to wait for the visa, passport, etc to be done and that is supposed to take 4-6 weeks if I understand it correctly. This means that our precious Lillian might be home before Christmas!  We had prepared ourselves not to have her here until January or February. I'm getting a little overwhelmed now, though. Two children practically at once! Yikes! What was I thinking?  LOL! Really I am very excited but I also know it's going to be crazy around here for a few months. We are planning to do NOTHING for a while - just focus on the kids. I can't wait!I'm attaching a picture of Lillian since this is a great opportunity to brag.  She just gets more beautiful every time I see her. I can't believe that I'm so blessed as to get to be her mommy!

Congratulations!!! She is unbelievably beautiful!
We are also adopting two (both from Guatemala), so I know the kinds of thoughts you're having about it being crazy at first. We also don't plan on doing anything but just being with the kids for a while. Good luck and keep us updated on both kiddos!

One of our sons best friends is from Liberia...I just get the best smile when I think of him .
