Toys for 1yr old boy!!

I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on toys. Our son is turning 1 in a couple of weeks and I was looking for some good boy toys. My daughter was very easy to buy for. Now she has alot of the toys I would have bought for him. I need new ideas. Thanks so much.

Fisher-price little people garage. My son loved it, and still plays with it. It is easy to put together and takes up little space.

All the little people stuff is great b/c it is age appropriate, yet when they get to be 2.5-3 they can use their imagination with the cars and people.

I have the funniest video of our son playing with the F-P Farm on his first birthday. He was walking the animals around & making the noise of a cow.

He also LOVED the videos that came with them...much more than Baby Einstein. (Yes, Aaron Neville does get on your nerves, singing every 10 minutes...!)

They have a Geo-Trax train that he got for his 2nd b-day, but they have some sets that accompany them without batteries. They are just push train cars...I still find them in our "to go bag" when he knows he has to sit still.

I'm ordering the Thanksgiving set that they have on their on-line store for our son to give to Flora.

The Weebles stuff is great! We got our son the Weebles Treehouse for his 1st birthday and he LOVES it! Play with it all the time! Also, balls and anything to do with balls. Maybe a bowling pin set or something?

Our kids love their 2 foot diameter ball and blocks of all sorts. Puzzles are good although mine started really playing with those at about 14-15 months.

Fisher Price's Noah's Ark.
He also loves Roll A Rounds.

Actually, anything that is a ball.

Do you already have a ride-on car for him? That was always my parent's gift to a 1-year-old.

That was AJ's first word - EVERYTHING was thrown and he would proudly say "ball"!

TYping again for the post that was deleted by the crazy monster who times me out every few minutes here....

Current favorites:
Fisher Price ball popper (noisy and crazy, but he loves it)

a learning "house" he's loved since he was 6 mos - might also be F-P or Playschool. I wouldn't have bought it myself, but friends got it for him when he was born, and IT IS A LIFESAVER!!! It keeps him very busy and holds his attention. Am trying to find it online so I can show you...

Books

A new wooden puzzle of his name

Here's the popper: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...ZZZ_SS260_.jpg

Fisher Price Peek-a-Blocks are fun. My son also loved all of the Leap Frog stuff like Fridge Phonics, drum and radio. He is awesome at the alphabet now. He also loved this really cool rocker toy that looked like a police motorcycle. A perfect energy releaser! Just let 'em rock away!

I bought my son the fisher-price little people dump truck, he is playing with it in every picture I get now. I also bought a set of smaller rubberish cars (pack of 6 at Target). They are made for little guys hands and are safe to chew on. He loves them too, according to the pictures.
I also sent board books with spanish and english words. I am not sure if your guys is home yet, but I thought it was a great idea for my guy since he is still waiting for me.

Have a great weekend
