Home!!!!!!!
We have been home 1 week. What a wonderful experience we've had. Our pick up trip was great no problems, smooth from beginning to end...thanks to an awesome agency!! Met so many super nice adoptive parents. We were able to spend the weekend in Antigua at the Hotel Antigua and WOW we had a great time, took some tours and really felt like we learned so much about Guatemala and it's culture and people.
Our daughter Gabriella is 15 months old (got her referral at 11 months) she is the sweetest most adorable child. She calls me "mama" her foster family was so great with her and I think that really helped her adjust to me, her dad and her brothers and sisters. We have had no problems she is doing great...including sleeping through the night! Eats everything, loves to play and laugh. Yet she cuddles like a little baby too. I'm so in love with her! Thank you for all your support during this process and encouragement. Now it's my turn to encourage all of you waiting. It is sooooo worth the wait...so please just hang in there and YOUR day will come!! Brie I would love to add a picture but for the life of me I cannot get my picture resized...sorry!

Welcome back and glad that everything went well. I would really love to see a picture! If you copy the picture over to paint then you can resize it. Sometimes if you right click on the picture and select Edit it will take you straight to Paint. Choose Image, Stretch/Skew, choose the stretch and put in 35 for both horizontal & vertical. Save the new picture and you should be able to attach it to a new thread. Let me know if you have any questions!
