What is the longest wait...
....That anyone has experienced from PGN out to Pick up? Just curious. We've been out for 3 total weeks and no word about Pink or anything- I am seeing all of the Pink threads and it seems that most ppl travel about three after their outs...Just trying to get an idea here-
Thanks, Angie

We had friends that waited for a long time, months, as the city the BC had to be issued from was not adoption friendly and not issueing the BC. I hope you hear good news soon. what does your agency/attorney say is the hold up? Anna

It took us 46 days from exiting PGN to Pink with our daughter's case, back in late 2004. It was truely the fault of the attorney who was slower than slow about EVERYTHING - from day one.

Yep, totally depends on the attorney. Our attorney was so slow we traveled before everything went to the embassy, and pressured him there, inevitably finishing ourselves to get our son home. If not I'm sure it would have taken him months, as it was it was about six or seven weeks.
The attorney holds most of the cards, but the agencies who continue working with bad ones, should be accountable... another reason to research very carefully. I hope yours goes faster, you've waited long enough, but if your attorney has a bad track record, he probably won't change now. If his initials are D.L. pm me. Chelsea |

Well said Chelsea! I didn't go into details, but excactly what Chelsea said! I traveled once between PGN and Pink, then went back after we had been submitted to the Embassy, but didn't have Pink yet. If I hadn't, I firmly believe that it would have been a LOT longer.
Don't let this freak you out as most attorneys are not like this, but after all he had not done during the preceeding 7.5 months, I knew that the trip from PGN to Pink would be a slow one without some prodding on my part - which my agency was not willing to do. I talked with someone recently who is process with him right now, and he still is slower than slow about everything. ![]()

I have been currently waiting 32 days since I was out of PGN. I have no idea when this will end. We don't even have our BC yet and we have been waiting 30 days for that.

I am sorry!! Unless you have reason to believe that your attorney will drag his feet, I wouldn't worry - as impossible as that is. As much as the pain of our process is now gone after having our kids home for almost two years, I do WELL remember that time from exiting PGN to Pink. I had a knot at the base of my neck that you could SEE it was so bad. In hindsight I am surprised my DH didn't lock me up somewhere until it was over. I was a total nut! Especially knowing that the attorney had a terrible track record. Sending prayers that you have Pink very, very soon!!
