Hi Stephanie - Ditto what the other posters said. You were just sharing the information you received from your ADA attorney. Who sounds like a real kick-in-the-pants by the way

The information would have hit the Forum one way or another. And the panic many of us felt was inevitable. We all just want our babies home. Hope you receive some good news on your case very soon!

Let’s all hang in there. Group hug

I agree with the others. Honestly, if I hadn't been able to read the craziness here I'd have flipped out much more. Late in the afternoon I received an email from a PAP with the information. I don't know who the person is and would have felt uncomfortable asking for more information. Fortunately, I'd already known what was going on.

I think what bothered me most yesterday was that suddenly there were (what I thought) too many threads started about it. I would've rathered only a few because it really did hide other posts. But, that had nothing to do with you. So, I hope you're not feeling bad about it today. I'm glad you shared the news with us, like Ellie said, it was a reality check for me.

Stephanie, don't feel bad. I know I would have done the same thing. I have felt so desparate at times in this process, and have put my faith in attorneys and agencies when I should have trusted God more. The emotional rollercoaster of yesterday helped me put my faith where it belongs.

I'm sorry to hear that your process has not gone smoothly. I hope it gets back on track for you soon.

Many people got the same report you did, and posting it here gave those "in the know" the opportunity to quell the rumors and put us at ease. Adoption is often an anxiety-filled process, and we get easily worked up about things we read on the adoption front. Don't worry, I don't think anyone is holding this against you.

Add another person to the list of folks who don't think you need to appologise.

We all share information and possible problems with each other, giving us somewhere to talk, vent, celebrate or discuss everything we are going through. I for one would certainly be having a much harder time if you all weren't here offering up advice and information when I need it. Let's face it you guys probally save my agency from needing a hotline straight to my house!
