yay- picture day!
Anabel Vianey is 5 months and one week old. She went to see Dr. Montiel yesterday, but according to her foster mom she didn't like it very much and cried and cried (he had to do a heel prick and she was NOT happy). However these wonderful photos were taken BEFORE she pitched her fit, happily.
 His report says that she's very healthy, and her 5 month stats are: weight - 14 lbs 15 oz; height - 59.9 cms, and head circumference - 40.2 cm. My one concern: she's only gained 10 oz weight and .2 cms height in the past month. But I'm trying to make it my new modus operendi to NOT panic at the slightest little thing I hear about her.  So, we've sent the report to our doctor to review, and I'm sure she will say, as she always does "Everything is fine - she looks great." Ah, new parenthood. When do you stop panicking on a daily basis? And she's not even home yet! I'm attaching some of the new photos, since I always love seeing all of yours. Note the "Brooklyn" t-shirt, though you can really only see it in one photo - we thought she needed to represent even before she lives here! Enjoy!
