Where to get hair bows?

Could some of you please PM me the websites where you can get those adorable hair bows? I would greatly appreciate it!

I always wondered. Are they safe? I mean, if the baby pulls them off and puts them in her mouth. My DD doesn't have enough hair yet, but I was wondering for when she does.

I don't have any websites to recommend, but I buy them at Stride Rite, Dillards, Von Maur and Strasburg Children. We have at least 30 hairbows. I know it sounds sick, but I feel like she can't "outgrow" them.
The funny thing is that she does not have enough hair to wear them. The last 2 visit trips she has worn the stretchy headbands with bows on them.
good luck - I hope you find a good site to buy them from.

Okay, the powers that be get really testy around here about posting URLs, so I'll just say (that after a similar post a few months ago) the way to go is ebay. They, and I won't name the sellers, have an excellent selection. I've ordered a bunch from four different sellers and have had great success.

Yes, I could probably make them for half the price. But, then I'd have to borrow my Mom's glue gun, go buy all the ribbon and clips and find some time to make them...here we come ebay!!

Just a couple tips-- get them on aligator clips so you can use them as the clips or put them below the rubber bands (black small ones are available at Target, not Walmart) and don't bid until the last 20 seconds !!

Have fun...

I found a flower girl/pageant dress shop in our local mall and they had a good selection. I thought one of the more practical bows for smaller babies were the ones with a small, thin strip of velcro instead of a clip. Holds the hair fairly well for pics, etc. I don't think I'd leave them in long either, I'd be afraid of them putting them in their mouths. I also bought a bunch of the stretchy head bands. A couple of them from ebay too. I think I may try to make some once I get back from the visit trip...they can't be that difficult.

Well said! Ebay (or GuatMommy2Be!) - with alligator clips!

For as often as we loose them, I won't pay more than $1 a bow.

Cheri,
I tried to PM you but your box is full. I make hairbows and ship them all over. I can do them on french clips, alligators, or pony O's. I also make headbands. I will send you my info once your box is cleared.

I 3rd the ebay suggestion. With 3 daughters I have bought a LOT of hairbows in my time and the sellers there have the best prices. I usually buy the 20 piece collection in lots of colors and that will normally last at least a year before we lose most of them!!!

There are a few things that I have found about the bows, and people pricing them the way they do. They do "custom boutique" and therefore, charge and arm and a leg. I have seen a seller (who is very good) sell hair bows for $40.00. Then you have made to match hair bows, a lot of Mom's go crazy for M2MG (Gymbo) hair bows. In addition to that, it depends on what kind of bow, and how many different types of ribbon is going into the bow. Since I just started selling on Ebay, I had my first orders. I had about 9 hair bow sets I needed to make. That did take a good portion of the day, since I sew them. So they add their time into it.

A good tip for babies with thin silky hair, make sure your clips are aligned with velvet, it will help them stay in place.

Hey Julie,
I have been ordering bows for Chloe online. Wouldn't it be ironic if I have been buying them from you.
Will you pm me your site!
By the way Kenza is absolutely gorgeous, I have missed you!
