I think the agency and attorney feedback lists are a great idea... what about a way to meet up with people who've had the same foster mom, or for birth sibs to meet up.

Our foster mom was wonderful, and I'd love to talk to anyone who used her. I also know a family whose foster mom terribly abused their child - this would be good information to have available.

Our son has a medical issue which is genetic, and if he has any more sibs, they may want to know this information... what does everyone think?

Would this be allowed and is anyone interested?

I do like the idea, having had two wonderful foster families, and also having heard horror stories, but I don't think it would be allowed. I know that threads listing foster mother or birthmother names are edited or deleted for privacy reasons.

I just sent in the membership thing for the sib group... apparently they just use the initials...

Could we just do initials and PM each other with potential matches?

For privacy reasons we would never do a Foster Parent or Birth Parent PM list - we only allow the post of the first name and one initial when posting on the forums, again for privacy reasons.
