Confused about the Vaccination Records...
Okay, someone is going to have to fill me in on this one...On Sofias' vaccine records it shows Triple vaccine- is that the DPT shot- diphtheria, tetnus and whooping cough? (Do they get MMR?) -Sarampion is measles but what is Paperas? As you can tell, I am confused...

From a quick Yahoo search, Paperas seems to be Mumps, and Sarampion seems to be Measles. My son did receive the MMR in Guatemala at 15 months, but his shot record also has a space for Sarampion and Paperas separate from the MMR, so I would assume that is if they are given separately. My daughter didn't receive the MMR until after she got home, but her record has a spot for Paperas-Rubeola -Sarampion.
On my son's record it is listed as Triple DPT, so diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus.

Excellent point. My kids both came home with perfectly filled out shot records and both had to have some immunizations redone after titers were run.

Question about tithers
I have a question about tithers ! We have changed peds a couple times with the girls (18 and 15) and are having a hard time getting their vaccination records to the current peds to get their medical done for the homestudy and the dossier ! Does any one know if they can do tithers on them to see if they have their immunizations and what they need ?

I know years ago....many.... you don't get the MMR until 1 yoa. I know when I went back to grad school they gave me a hard time because I was born in that zone that needed a second MMR, which I got but my first one was given to me the day before I turned 1..... they didn't get the point I needed the second shot for a booster not 2 shots
