Strongly Considering Fostering
I have been mulling the idea over for a few weeks, and my DH is really pushing me to do so. Since my son has had health issues, and has been pulled recently from his foster home due to lack of care, we think that this is the way to go. Does anyone have any info on some extended stay hotels or places that you have stayed in to foster.
A ballpark figure as to the costs per month would be great if anyone had one would be great as well. Thanks

I'll PM you a web site that says they help with fostering. I think you'd have a great time. I'd go if I thought I could handle two babies in a hotel room alone, but I don't think I can. I think the housing arrangements cost about 600+ month in Antigua, but I'm not certain. Other costs wold be bringing your baby to their doctors appointments, passport picture, embassy doctor visit, etc. It's about $75 round-trip from Antigua.

I don't have any info but wanted to say that it is so awesome your husband is supporting you and encouraging you to do this. If I didn't have other kids at home, I would do it in a heartbeat!!!!! Good luck with making your plans, praying everything goes smoothly in making the arrangements and your time there.

Fostering is worth it but towards the end ( 3 + months ) it gets hard !!!!
