I miss my little guy so much it's killing me. Today I found out we were KO'd from PGN and need to get new documents to Guat ASAP. There is just no way I can get them there before Monday or Tuesday, which means, I will not get back in until the end of next week "if" I am lucky. Given that info.....I now can forget the possibility of having my son home in time to go trick or treating with his cousins. I'm so sad. This is gonna put us so far behind schedule. I'll have to consider myself lucky if I can have him home for Thanksgiving....and thats gonna take a miracle. It looks like I'm gonna have to go back for another visit. I can't bear having to wait another 3 months to see or hold my baby again. Anyone planning a trip for end of Sept - early Oct?

Sorry to hear about your KO.

I scheduled my last visit right after we got our KO. It did help, because then I had something concrete to focus on instead of this wishy washy PGN cr*p.

I just returned 8 days ago from my visit trip and it seems like it's been 8 years!!!!! I've been in PGN for 3 months, and now my son is 8 months old. I am planning visit trip #2 for early Oct., though can't imagine how I'm going to make it through tomorrow let alone another month without him. I feel your pain, believe me. This is not my first Guat adoption and everyone says it is easier the second time around, but I don't think so.

I hear ya. When we found out about our ko last week we immediately booked a trip (9/16 thru 9/22). Although - I'm still secretly hoping to get out of PGN this week or next so I can change our visit trip to a pick-up trip!!! Good luck. Hang in there!

A visit trip is a good cure for the blues. It gives you something concrete to look forward to. PGN is hard because you can go so long with no news, or bad news so we don't get our "fix" of feeling like we're getting closer. When we hit the 7-8 week in PGN I said the same thing....I'm going!!!!!

I know how you feel. Once you go once you are hooked! We just got back from our second visit trip. Just to warn ya. Knowing how painful it was giving him back the first time, I didn't think it could hurt any worse but..... it does. But that's not going to stop us from going back again and again and again till he is home. Good luck to you, have a good trip, savor every second. Keep believing in miracles they do happen.

I am debating another trip too. We are STILL waiting on a first KO, which means we are going to be in this for awhile yet. I can't stand it that she won't be home for months yet so I think I'll be going back sometime in October to see her. I miss her so much!
