Another toddler adoption one year later
It has been almost a year since we brought our daughter home. She was also almost two. She made a wonderful transition. Now, it is like she has always been here. She is loving, sweet and adored by her brothers (unless, of course she just ate the last cookie
). She starts swimming and gymnastics this fall (she is a remarkably bendy girl ). My prediction -- Guatemalan gymnastics olympic team 2020.

It's nice to hear that things are going well for your daughter and her new family. We don't hear near enough of the good stories regarding adoption, esp. those of older children. Post a pic when you can!

Lori what a great story!!!!!!! We're really hoping to get referred a toddler because that's what our heart is drawn to.
We'll take anything our agency sends our way though. Thanks for sharing your great story!!! I have a gymnast too (but she's 9)! You'll have to share some pictures with us. ![]()

We have the flip side of your family with three bio daughters and added the toddler boy last year. I am so glad you transition has gone well. I found it really nice that we were able to keep doing all the family activities which wouldn't have happened with a newborn.
Our son is also quite a natural athlete. I am glad your sons have adjusted to the new sister. It has changed our family dynamics for the better to add an opposite gender to the mix. Congratulations! Tiersa |

So glad to hear your family is doing well! Is your daughter spoiled by having three older brothers? (Our younger son is spoiled enough, with 2 sisters and a brother at least 10 years older!)
![]() Do you have a recent family pic?
