Help Me Decide! How to spell my baby's nickname?
Ok, to make a loong story short, we began calling our baby girl "Allie" waaay before she was born. But I wanted to give her a more formal name, so that is the origin of the name "Alisabeth".
HOWEVER - my mom thought we would spell it "Ali" (since it's short for Alisabeth). I wasn't too sure at first. It kind of reminds me of a boxer.  So, what do you think? Which name "looks" better - Allie Ali Or another variation????? All suggestions welcome!

I like "Allie" because I would think many people would pronounce Ali as "a-LEE" rather than "AL-ee." Just my personal opinion, tho. I just LOVE Alisabeth!

Hmmmm. Like Ali (know a little girl called Ali, full name Alicia). I never once thought of Ali (although I'm also not a sports-minded person)
Not a fan of Ally, I'd think of ally (as in war allies?)..... Allie is also okay. Not sure it really matters as far as finding things with any of her name/nicknames on them. So whatever you feel most comfortable in writing. We've done the same contemplating with niece Olivia (Livi? Livvy? Livvie? I tend to think of her as Livi, because those letters are actually a part of her name)
