Do they issue PINK on Fridays?
Just wandering. We recieved our son's Mixco BC on Monday and the atty told us he was going to submit us for PINK either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I have not heard what day he actually submitted us. So, I was just wandering if maybe I will get PINK tomorrow (Friday) or will I have to wait until next week to hear something. Also, to those of you who recieved PINK recently, what are your appointment dates? I am just trying to estimate when we will be going to Guatemala.

As far as I know, although my case finished last summer, they do not issue pinks on Fridays. Sorry! I hope if you didn't get it yesterday then it will be Tuesday. Our agency director did say that they seem to be taking an extra day lately.

Not sure if they issue pinks on Friday. I thought they didn't, but I might be wrong. We just got PINK today (from yesterday afternoon) and our appointment is Monday, September 11th. We were submitted on last Thurs. and they issued the pink slip on Wednesday. It seems there are two days in between (remember they are closed on Fridays...I think??) when you're submitted and when you receive the PINK.

Unless it has changed recently, they only issue Pink Monday through Thursday. Hope you were submitted Tuesday and have Pink by now!

Oh no! We were hoping to get PINK today and didn't...so that means we have til next Tuesday or Wednesday to get PINK?

I don't think they will be issuing anything this week on Friday for sure. I received an email from my agency that the agency was closed Wed-Mon for the Labor Day holiday. I was a little disappointed as I am waiting on PA and was hoping for it this week.

Don't know about issuing pink on Fridays but we got our call that we had pink on a Saturday. It was a real suprise.

I don't think they issue Pinks on Fridays. I was expecting to hear we had pink yesterday 8/31 but we didn't, so I'm guessing we won't hear from them until Tuesday after Labor Day...this is so very upseting, but it will be in God's Perfect Timing.

I hope they issue pinks today. It never fails there is some sort of holiday this exact week. I found this on their website listing their hours of the consular dept-ones actually making the appointments:
The Consular Section is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday (except on U.S. and Guatemalan holidays). SO THERE IS STILL HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
