Blue Ink ?????????????
Starting our paperchase again. We're actually still waiting for our dossier packet from our agency but I started a few things anyway. I got one of my documents back and saw that it had been signed in blue, not black ink. Is this acceptable?

Most of our notaries signed in blue ink because their stamps are printed in blue ink. I asked one notary and he said it makes it more authentic and less questions asked at the state level.

Ink
I was worried about ink color, and my agency assured me that blue and black were both fine.

I think blue ink is preferable when signing all documents, because it proves it is an original, and not a photo copy. I have heard of documents being rejected because they were signed in black ink.

I'd wondered about this too. Yesterday when I had my med form signed the dr asked my notary which color he preferred. He gave the same "blue ink" reason as above. It proves it's an original and is easier to differentiate between copies.
Being a military family I was worried because everything here is done in black ink. thanks for the answer on that one even though I didn't ask!! Amy
