I just got done PM'ing someone about how great our agency was. However, I just emailed my coordinator this morning to see if we had Pink. We were submitted on 08/22. Or, so I thought. She said that she would have thought they would have it by now, but they don't, so maybe I was submitted on 08/23. What??? She sent me an email on 08/23 saying it was CONFIRMED that we went in on 08/22! I told her that I know the Embassy has been busy, so maybe it's just taking longer. She said that could definitely be the case. It's just that now, we won't know anything until at least Tuesday, since they don't issue Pink on Friday's, so if they issue Pink on Monday, we won't find out until Tuesday. I realize this is a VERY MINOR bump in the road. And if she had just sad they had not heard anything yet, and it would be at least Tuesday, I would have dealt with that. It's just that she is unsure of when we were even submitted that makes me angry!! I know we'll have Pink very soon, just very frustrating!! Thanks for listening, and letting me vent!!

PS: I still think our agency is great!! I still consider this a VERY MINOR thing, but it's just frustrating when you're so close!!

I thought waiting for pink was as bad as PGN! I'm not sure why because it took a lot less time, but I was just sick waiting for the phone to ring everyday!! Saying a prayer for your peace through the weekend! It is so HARD, I remember well!! But hopefully by this time next week you'll be packing!

That is frustrating. So close but probably feels so far yet. I'm with you - not knowing is ALWAYS the worst feeling in the world. Tell me it will be another month and I won't like it but it will be fine, tell me "I don't know when" and I'll lose it!

It doesn't matter "how small" you think the delay is....every delay that causes us to spend one less day with our babies is a big delay. I am sorry you are frustrated. I hope your baby is home very soon

We are on the same timeline, and the same frustration. We were suppose to be submitted 8/22 than 8/23 here it is 8/25 and we have no idea if we were even submitted yet. I am really hoping to travel the first week of September (my sister is on vacation, and she is watching my 3 yr old) But at this rate I don't think we will ever get to go!!!!!!!!!! just frustrated!!!!!!!!!!

Here's hoping that you will find out soon! When we were waiting for pink, we found out on a Monday (were expecting to find out Thursday evening like you) and our appointment was Wednesday! So that meant we left the next day. It was crazy and exciting!

It appears a few of us are in the same situation and maybe there is something non of us knows which is a perfect explanation for the delays.

Our case was submitted for Pink on 8/11 on 8/14 were issued an I72 for additional information, this was resubmitted on Tuesday, 8/22 anticipated Pink on 8/24, no word as to why our Pink wasn't ready. I read another post today that said that Pink is now being delayed further out than 48 hours, due to the surplus of recent outs.

So if this is the case maybe Monday will be the day and all of us will get PINK.

But in the meantime I advise you all to email the US Embassy as they are very responsive and helpful.

I had heard that as well, but I have seen several people who were submitted on 08/22 that received Pink yesterday. My agency coordinator is supposed to call us tonight at 6pm to tell us if we were for sure submitted on 08/22. I might contact the embassy then.

Same here. We were submitted for pink either the 22nd or 23rd. We also were hoping to have our appointment the first week of September. Our agency called us on Monday and said to get packing we could leave any day now. Some how any day now seems so far into the future. I pray for Pink on Monday for all the "Pink waiters".
